Sunset House is a magical place! Our family comes here frequently and every time you walk through the front door, you're transported into another world. Cynthia, Loris, Jennifer, Rose and Carmen have the house in flow, everything is always taken care of for you during your stay, the service is impeccable. Our days at the villa are spent relaxing, planning our next adventures, singing karaoke by the pool and dancing by the dinner table after an amazing feast. Walking the beach in the mornings, heading to Ms. Patricia's at Smuggler's Cove, and heading to Virgin Gorda to do the baths are just some of our favorite things to experience while we're there. This place will forever hold our hearts and I hope that it will hold yours, too!

So many things to write about, sound of the waves, walking on the beach. Fabulous meals by chef Cynthia, Loris and support staff Rose and Jennifer. Epic day with Chillout Charters and the Zenergy party hearty x 10. Best marmalade jelly ever!! Spectacular week, you can't make up the adventure we had.

We had a fantastic trip to Sunset House with our whole family. The house was perfect for a group of 10! Carmen and her team couldn't have been more accomodating to our group. We would sit at dinner and plan for our next trip. We did a couple of nights of cooking on our own and we all agreed that next time, we'll count on Carmen's team to do all the meals. It's a top notch service! We can't wait for our next visit!

Spent a wonderful, soul-refreshing week at Sunset House! I could never get tired of the breathtaking views. Carmen, Cynthia, Loris and Jennifer took exceptional care of us and the meals were delicious. There is so much to experience on Tortola and the surrounding islands. I look forward to going back someday!

What a great find. Our family had a wonderful week with Carmen and the crew a while back. We spent 3 weeks in the BVIs. One week sailing with each of our two families, then the middle week on the island at the Sunset House, and then the last week with the other family sailing. The find of Carmen, as well as the ladies who kept us well fed during our time at the Sunset House, were the key to a fantastic special time in our lives. If you have found the Sunset house in your search for a very special time in your lives, you have stumbled onto the secret key. Jump on it while you can!!

Thank you so much for this beautiful space and all the memories made here: walking down to the beach was so much fun and we all made it back up the hill! Carmen, Loris, Cynthia, and Jennifer were wonderful. This view and this island are so, so special! We could sit and talk and read on this balcony forever!

Thank you! Cynthia, Loris, & Jennifer for your early mornings to late nights hospitality, you took great care of our extended family. Such a gorgeous house in a spectacular location! We loved walking down to "Nature Boy" and back and sitting on the balcony watching the waves crash on the beach. A perfect place to have celebrated Helen's birthday and Travis' college graduation.

We first stayed at Sunset House in early 2021 for two weeks during COVID with all of our children, and it quickly became one of the most meaningful trips our family has ever taken. The beauty of the property, the privacy, and the overall experience were so special that our daughter later decided she wanted to return and have her destination wedding there. When the time came, we rented Sunset House again, and once more the experience exceeded every expectation. The owners and staff were incredibly accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. They helped us with everything from wedding décor and setup to absolutely amazing appetizers and private dinners making the planning process seamless and stress-free. We stayed for eight days and explored the surrounding islands by boat, including Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, and others, which was such a gift for our family and wedding guests alike. Additional guests stayed at nearby Airbnbs and villas, which worked out perfectly and made it easy for everyone to be close while still having their own space. The wedding ceremony took place at Sunset House toward the end of our stay, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. The setting was intimate, romantic, and unbelievably beautiful truly a dream Caribbean wedding venue. The wedding reception was held at a wonderful local spot called Tremonte, which was the perfect complement to the ceremony and created an unforgettable celebration. We felt incredibly blessed to be able to return to Sunset House to celebrate the beginning of a new marriage and a new journey. It is an ideal location for a destination wedding, family gathering, or once-in-a-lifetime celebration. I cannot recommend Sunset House highly enough and can’t wait to return again in the future.

Swim freely in Long Bay - make frozen cocktails in the evenings - sleep to the sound of the ocean - stare at the horizon embrace the frequent rain. After 12 years - it has been a joy to be back at Sunset House! Carmen - we love you!

Our family of eleven had a wonderful Christmas vacation at Sunset House. The house was better than the pictures and we loved the floorplan. We all enjoyed having our own bathrooms and the great views from our balcony. We gathered for cocktails on the porch with amazing views overlooking Long Bay nightly and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We spent our mornings at the lovely beaches in Tortola and most afternoons poolside enjoying the pool and hot tub. We felt the staff Jennifer, Rose, Cynthia and Loris were part of our family by weeks end. They were so kind, helpful and flexible if we got a late start to our day or wanted to change dinner time. Carmen the manager even had a Christmas Tree and the house decorated for us. Spending Christmas at the Sunset House truly made for a "magical Christmas" one that we will always treasure.
