We have had the opportunity to stay at the Sunset House on multiple occasions. We have always loved it and our recent visit was not disappointing. It is truly paradise. We love walking on the beach below, massages by the beautiful pool and enjoying the hot tub after a day at the beach. The grounds are beautifully kept with lush flowers and greenery. Its location makes it easy to get to Smuggler's Beach and Cane Garden. There are restaurants nearby and within walking distance. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, from the moment you arrive until the day you leave. Cynthia and Loris create gourmet meals that are outstanding. So relaxing to enjoy appetizers on the veranda and watch the breath-taking sunsets. The bedrooms all have screened verandas that open up to the same wonderful ocean views and the sound of the ocean at night is mesmerizing. We would highly recommend the Sunset House! Thanks to Carmen, Jenny, Rose, Cynthia and Loris for a great experience! Can't wait to visit again!

Ditto - Wow this was the perfect place for our "vacation couples" trip to celebrate Deb's 60th . The food was the best of island. House incredible clean. Staff so friendly and professional - can't think of one thing to make it better. Thank you for the attention to details. God bless you all!! in this slice of heaven. The perfect Vacation!

Just spent another beautiful week at Sunset House in Tortola, and already I can’t wait to plan my next stay. So many things make this beautiful home special, beyond the stunning view and the soothing sounds of the water below. I especially love the gorgeous screened balcony doors that allow for fresh air and nature sounds in your room as you wind down with a good book after a luxuriously lazy day by the pool, followed by a scrumptious dinner prepared by Cynthia and Loris. Don't forget to order a poolside massage by Elizabeth either! With the waterfall splashing in the pool, and bird calls and ocean wave symphony surrounding you, her massage easily tames your sore muscles and mends your weary heart. My recommendation is to jump in the hot tub post massage to lock in that relax mode, then after a light breakfast, head on over to Patricia’s place on Smugglers beach. Don’t forget to order the potato salad! Of course it wouldn’t be a trip to the BVI if you don’t make it to Jost Van Dyke for an afternoon @ the Soggy Dollar followed by a stop at Foxy’s. If you’re super athletic, walk to SD from the dock! Your rum runner will never taste as good, and you’ll experience spectacular views along the way, and a goat or two if you’re lucky. This time around, we also did a day trip to Cane Garden Bay and on other days, took the 7:00 am ferry to Anegada to see the Flamingos, as well as a trip to Virgin Gorda to visit the Baths. We are so thankful for an incredible vacation. We were able to celebrate all the things we missed during COVID - including a 70th birthday, a 50th wedding anniversary, and a high school graduation. It's so nice to be able to give all the milestones the attention they deserve finally!! Our family have been looking forward to this week for two years and not a moment disappointed, from boat days on Celtic Power Boats (highly endorse Patrick & Crew) to beach days at Cane Garden (with cocktails on the way home at Stoutt's) each experience was nothing short of perfection. Carmen's planning skills are unparalleled and if we are honest, everyone will miss Rose and her hospitality the most. She's an absolute gem of a person. The vistas at Sunset House are unbelievable - it absolutely lives up to its name. We had the most memorable week and hopefully we will be back soon!

To the staff at the Sunset House - thank you for making this the vacation of a lifetime. We will forever cherish the happy memories made in the British Virgin Islands. From the moment we opened the gate to the Sunset House we were captivated. The sheer natural beauty of place and the islands is completely intoxicating. There really are no words to capture the special beauty of the home & staff. It's been like living a dream. Thank you! Carmen, Jennifer, Rose, Cynthia & Loris for the amazing meals and smiling faces. The extended Hemmingway family has had the distinct pleasure of staying at Sunset House for the last 8 days. The house is nothing short of perfection, from the stunning views of the Caribbean Sea to the impeccable attention to detail in every room. But what makes the house truly memorable is the staff - Chef Cynthia, with her culinary experience, has surpassed all expectations with her ability to create masterpieces in the kitchen. Loris has been equally indispensable, always there to lend a hand and ensure our every need was met. Rose and Jennifer made sure the house was clean, and our stay seamless and unforgettable. We raise our glasses to the staff and families that made this experience one to remember! Cheers!!!!

What an incredible vacation! Four couples from Long Island, New York. We planned this trip two and a half years ago, however due to Covid virus, we were forced postpone for a year. Your home is absolutely magnificent!! The pictures on your website were so accurate but we still were taken aback when we walked through the front gate. The views from every room are spectacular. Carmen was a true asset to our vacation, from the day we booked to the day we left. She made it so easy from providing us transportation to answering every question regarding restaurants, beaches, and food stores. our food was delivered and placed in the fridge before we arrived. Appetizers and dinner were prepared on arrival. I can't say enough about Carmen and the assistance she provided. Waking up to coffee and breakfast provided by Rose and Jennifer was a wonderful treat each morning. Appetizers on the balcony and dinners prepared by Cynthia and Loris was something we'll never forget. Cynthia is a gourmet chef in our eyes. The table was set for royalty. Our vacation was truly like living the life of "The Rich and Famous!" Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will never forget this!!

This house is just spectacular. Carmen and her team of ladies couldn't be better. I went there for my 60th birthday with 6 friends and it was perfect. The house and views were just amazing. Carmen and the wonderful ladies who cook and clean not only did a great job, but they were so friendly and kind. This property is a dream!

We have loved our week in the BVI. The house and views were breathtaking! Carmen and the ladies that took care of this week truly made the trip. We highly recommend the chefs meals. Patrick with Celtic gave us a beautiful boat tour of the island and the snorkeling was great. Jost Van Dyke with Soggy Dollar bar is a must. Tropical Fusion and Bananakeet had amazing food. Make sure to check out the tire swing, it's perfect for pictures. We hope to come back!!!!

Sunset House, what a place! This has been the holiday of a lifetime. From the 270 degree panoramic views to the pristine kept villa, every ounce of the experience has been catered for. A massive thank you to Carmen who stuck with us through COVID and delivered an exceptional experience by ensuring we were thoroughly looked after for the full 14 days. Thank you to Jennifer who every day ensured the villa was smelling as good as the views from the balcony and preparing such consistent, fresh breakfast each morning. We are going to thoroughly miss that lovely smile when we wake up each morning. Finally a special thank you to Cynthia & Loris who prepared, cooked & served the most amazing food on request. We have built special bonds with all of the ladies in Sunset House, and will be staying in touch in the near future. Thank you again for such a memorable and wholesome holiday, we hope to see you all again in the future.
